Go to Google. Choose 'advanced search'. Now choose 'with the exact phrase'. Type in a line of lyrics that you know are correct.

No need for the 'advanced' search stuff...

Whenever you search for music info, and you know some of the lyrics, just type the words you know followed by a - (space) and then lyrics...

as in

YOU GOT TO KNOW TO UNDERSTAND, I'LL TAKE YOU BY THE HAND, I'LL TAKE YOU TO THE PROMISED LAND - lyrics

The result will normally be a great number of sites...

Found It! the Song I Haven't For Ages
 

The band that I didn't hear for ages was
"Supergroove - You Got To Know" a simple New Zealand with a great song.
It's amazing that its not on the radio (well maybe not here in Australia).
