microsoft is trying to screw us agen...
 
iv been reading some pretty scary stuff about this "palladium" garbage microcrap is trying to pull .its suposedley going to controll everyones computers and dictate and manipulate everything that you do on YOUR OWN COMPUTER. its like big brother from 1984. how do we stop somthing like this???? or will it just destroy itself??? please read this because i feel that it is extreemley important and will afect everyone: http://www.epic.org/privacy/consumer...palladium.html

the "extensive faq" thing tells u the moast i think. frankley the entire idia that this is even possible horrifiys me.

I guess that's why people should beware of updates unless absolutely necessary. Let's face it. So many of M$'s updates are bugs in themselves. So you end up getting an update to fix an update. Best choice is to wait before updating & see what responses & side-fx happen as a result. There's generally some commonly found comments about the pluses & minuses of particular updates & their implications or risks. I'd never have auto update set by choice. Only when I'm ready & if I'm ready for them & 'if I really need them'! Just my half a cent! lol ;) :)

FYI I have my auto updates manually set to automatically download updates, but to be prompted whether I want to install them or not. This way I can review the update and determine whether this system needs it or not.
