You have seen them, those ads that take up the bottom of the screen, the ones that get in the way of your show.
Watch closely as they take up 1/3 of your screen! Annoying animation!

Someone please start a site dedicated to letterwriting, e-mailing and generally getting people fired for doing this crap!

Post your support here and maybe someone will see the need and start a site.

im tired of commercials in general....

not onley the corner ads that you sead , but allsow the crawlers at the bottom of the screen, the 5 or 6 five minit long commercal blocks in a 1 hr show, and the newest anoyence...the bloated rating marker at the start of every show....the reruns they show ETERNALY...everything...

i still dont get why there are even commercials on PAY TV at all...

not just TV....every radio station is FLOODED with commmercials....same story with the internet...

and the 100ft high billboreds every 10 feet along every road...it ****** me off so much.

the last magazine i read was ALL ads ....i couldent find one artical or picture that wasent trying to sell somthing.

its like they suck the energy right out of me...it ****ing sucks.

And then they added sound to those stupid little things in the corner! It totally messes up the show, one time it was real quiet in the show and then the little corner ad started making loud karate choping sounds, really lame.

These guys call themselves professionals? Shame on them!
And the guys who do this probably think their graphics are just so great, like little kids needing attention.
Those greedy *******s keep adding more and more commercials to every show, and no one is saying anything, then they advertise some new show "on at 3PM tuesday" with a banner during the show so they don't have to waste regular commercial time.
Like "catho" said in the other post, the large rating box "MA" or "PG" always covers up something important or someone's face for at least 30 seconds of the show, what a crock! Like we couldn't read it if it was smaller. TVLAND is the worst for this.
And they act like they own these old shows that have run out of copyright and could be sold by anyone, putting their TVLAND graphic in the lower right corner for the whole show, really a shame. Like I don't know what channel I am on.
Then they get upset because people are using Tivo to get rid of the damn commercials, what do they expect? I use my MP3 player in the car now, the radio stations are nothing but commercials all the time, 100% of the time. ***** them? When will the corporate head jerkoffs get a clue?
Put less commercials on, make them very entertaining or don't accept them, and let the viewer watch his show! How hard is it?
Something has to be done about this, only public pressure will make it stop.
Has anyone seen a good site or group dedicated to stopping this?

i think the TV stations should charge more for commercial time, this way they could have less commercials and make the same mony off advertizing, this would motovate whoever is buying the time to make better higher qualety less obnoxious commercials, and most of all would make lieing on the couch for 6hrs watching TV more fun and enjoyable....

actualy i think thats a photo of a plastic burger that they use in the commercials, notice that none of the burgurs you actualy buy look that perfect and allways look like sombody sat on it...

i think i may change it soon....it looks kind of dumb...

I think the most annoying aspect of all is how the sound volume increases, it's supposedly a subliminal message for consumers to buy the products. But if you really think about it, you're bombarded with ads daily, from the internet to the grocery store, like most things in this world, it's big business, if it doesn't make dollars, it doesn't make sense...
