what is it with a lot of Limewire users that are spamming,so many files have the same amount of memory,851.7 kb,the files allways have trojans on them,what fun do they get out of posting phony files and trying to send trojans to genuine users,they should be banned.

Those guys are professionnal spammers with hacked versions of LW (since LW is open source and code is available to anybody).

LW 5.0 will have a spam filter working as email spam filters. We'll see how it works against those ?&*%*!!!

those people release those files because they know people will click random files without putting much thought into it. if people didn't trust software on p2p (which i don't), i believe a lot of the problems would go away.
