Pleez Help--> Corrupted Files I am trying to download a very popular song (Precious by D*p*che M*de) and finding that every download (I've tried 4x now) winds up being corrupted. If I OK the continuation then the file I end up with doesn't play properly (i.e., the ticker bar in my player moves, but there's no sound). I realize the song hasn't been officially released and so perhaps these plentiful copies are illegal rips which are somehow marked and won't play on RealPlayer. Anybody know what's going on and if there's anything I can do about it? Should I keep trying, get a new player, or just sit by the radio and wait patiently? Thanks! SS (Thanks Only A Hobo for keeping on track lol :D) Yes reading the forum rules which are listed at the top of every section will let you know what you should do on the forum. The record industry seems to find it fun to get messed up files onto the network in order to make people give up on p2p a couple of people download these and don't check them .. share them and .... you can work out the rest Well that's the conspiracy theory answer:) btw you should not discuss names of hings like this as it is strictly not allowed in the forums ... your post may well be turned into several asterisks:) |
