Default is there anybody out there

Will someone please tell me if limewire really works or is this all a scam. I'm having no success getting connected and by the looks of it I'm not alone. I'm no computer genius so maybe I just lack the knowledge to obtain a connection. Someone please let me know wether it's just me or am I wasting my time even trying. All I want is an honest answer I know someone out there can give it to me. I would be grateful for any response. Thank you.

limewire works great here...

just be shu ryou get it from the official site and not a scam site (like the google ads that keep showing up at the top of the screen in here)

the basic ver is free and the pro ver is like 18$...

and if it wont connect make shur u have th enewest vershon and that your firewall or router isent blocking it.

I used the official site and paid 19.00 bucks to be a limewire pro member but for the past two weeks I have yet to get a signal using the bars in the bottom left hand corner. My overall computer signal is very good and my outlook and internet are working perfectly. Do you know why I might be having this signal problem and who I need to email to get a straight answer. I have tried everything, please help!

Thanks Kindly,
uninformed

You have not said what firewall you are using, anyway have you tried switching your firewall off for a few (less than 10) minutes.

You have not configured your firewall to let LW have access to and from the internet.

You are going to have to get to know your Norton products, you should start by reading the manual.

UK Bob

If you don't currently have the manual go and download it from the Symantec website.

Some of the adverts are scams. They are put up automatically and it is a job to keep them under control. Bad I know... but there it is. Bearshare (I don't know of Bearware???) is a legitimate application similar to limewire. You evidently see different ads to me
