Still Having Connection Issues: Why doesn't anybody have an answer?

i'm still looking for anybody who can help me with my poor connection turnout. i've undownloaded kazaa, ran two different spyware programs, downloaded zone alarm, disactivated my xp firewall and all i ever get is one measly red bar

i don't know why and many others have this problem too, so if anybody has an answer, i will be greatly appriciated.

and another thing, on the troubleshooting page, it talks about javaw.exe. but that never comes up on my allow/deny choice menu. it doesnt exist for me. if anybody can help with this, greatly appriciated as well.

I've looked at all your posts & ascertain you use XP & have 2 firewalls. That's the only main detail I've been able to find. It's hard to help someone who doesn't provide much in the way of details of their set up.
Re: firewall settings, add what does come up ... such as limewire or gnutella. You may need to manually add these things.

If you are running two firewalls turn one off.

Second, what settings do you have under, tools/options/downloads and tools/options/uploads/slots and basic.

If you provide more information more help can be given :)
