SHODDY ADVERTISEMENTS 134.81KB

Hi
I have been with Limewire for about a week and everytime i tried to search for a tune it was the same - when searching try to put in the artist and the track and just make sure that the file is not the same size as the fadge that keeps coming up with the advert......... I am also looking for some HELP.......

I read on the hint board tonight the downloads marked with the # symbol are quicker and more reliable to download but where do you find it ----- help...... from a Scottish Blonde x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x :) :D

What type of file are they? If they're mostly .wma files, try filtering .wma files from your searches.

In LW go to Tools>Options>Filters>Keywords, then add .wma click apply then try another search and see if it helped.

And for general knowledge check out this thread: What you should know about WMA & WMV Files

The #(number) symbol is one of several different column headers at the top of the search results page. The actual number that appears under the "#" column indicates the number of users that have the file shown, ie: 2, 8, 26, 50, ect. In theory the higher the number the better chance of getting a good download, but it doesn't always work that way. There are a lot of spam and bad files on the network, you have to be patient and after a while you'll get to know whats good and whats trash;).
