help with video saving

I am new at this and am not sure i am actually saving the videos correctly. I set it to a folder i created but for some reason the videos are not being saved in it. And i can not find them when i go to dvd decrypter to burn them. Can someone give me some tips on how to be sure that the video will be saved?
Thank you,
Jasan

Maybe you should have a look at the LW manual, it will tell you how to get LW to save files in various sub-directories.

I have created 2 different folders. One for my music and one for my videos and have selected those to use to store my tiems but my videos /movies are not being stored in the folder that i set it to be stored in. This is making me wonder what is going on.

Sorry we posted at the same time, what program are you using to decode and burn the movies...

jasan November 22nd, 2005 05:13 PM

i have 3 programs . one is nero , another one is dvd shrink and another is dvd decrypter.

I am wondering if my LW settings are wrong cause i just had to go back and chage the sharing and saved settings and right now am trying to download titanic.

Dont use the shrink or decrypter there for copying store dvds. I dont know alot about nero, I use dvd santa, when it says add media I click and all my files are there, then I chose which one to copy. How many files have you tried to burn?

jasan November 22nd, 2005 05:20 PM

i tried to burn 2 yesterday but got no results.

From what you have said check all your LW settings and make sure what you have downloaded is showing up in LW folders...

Only use the nero it should do all the converting as well as burning for you (as I said I dont know alot about nero, but from what I have read its the same as the others.)

Have a look at the stickies at the beggining of the open dissussion forum (LW), they will explain LW settings and such.

good luck and if you still run into problems let me know ;)

Thank you so very much. I checked my settings and changed them and now i see the video that i just downloaded in the saved folder and in the share folder, but my problem is finding the folder through nero.

Thank you once again.
