Been trying to download DP's K*ntucky W*man, mostly only N*il D*amonds Version comes up. DP's does come up always ask for more sources, anyway I can get a copy of this song, I've tried just D*ep P*rple it does not come up under the band name, only as the title name does DP show up.

Please don't mention the names of copyright material on the forum. It's against the forum rules. Forum Rules (click here)

Songs

Let me clarify I was not asking for someone to send me the info, on my thread. But only a different way to possiblly get from Limewire, which I have paid for a lifetime membership, from madeformusic.com.
I had tried what I could was only asking if there was something else I could try on LW Pro. All my searchs are leagal and paid for.

I do not want, or wish for anyone on this forum to send me something, that I do not get what I have legally paid for through the source I have legally accuired to RIAA rules.
Only information on possible different way(s) to search for and retrieve that information from my legal source.

I understand and know quite well what you all have said here, did not intentionally try, nor want to break these rules. I was using the forum as a way to get possible ideas on how or what I may try since what I was already trying what I only knew how to do.

Since I got to this forum from the afore mentioned info that I paid for, I took what I wrote as a way to get possible new idea and what to try with my program.
In Essence I just took gnutella as away to ask about these ideas was all. Being a forum I take forums as ways/use to get ideas or information on what I may be doing right or wrong to get the info I seek legally as I am allowed to do from my program. I apologize for any misunderstandings, or for making it appear/sound I was asking for my item in an illegal way, from anyone on this forum.

1: rulez are rulez..we are used to ppl breaking them (usually from ignorance), but please don't expect us to just ignore it...

2: this forum is in NO way involved with the scam site you purchased a lifetime membership from (yes, you were scammed...there is no lifetime membership for LW, BS, or any other client you would pay for...and they also have free versions)

3: members of this forum are NOT paid for their services...we donate our time answering queries from ppl like you, and its rather out of place to expect us to act like paid employees (you know..overly polite to asswholes [not to say you are, just making a point])

4: you would be much better of if someone had sent you the info via PRIVATE message, as such things posted in public are basically against present laws, and such posts many times end up with a forum board being shut down...

Here's an Idea

Aryth

Here's an idea that you probably never thought of, you went to this scam site "madeformusic.com"paid for a non-existent lifetime membership and all you got was a URL link to freebie Limewire Basic. So, in effect, you have thrown your money away and got nothing.

So you have not paid legally for anything, you would have been better of giving your money to charity but instead you gave your money and payment details to con artists who may continually charge you a monthly fee for membership of your non-existent club.

Read the following thread, it will advice you on how to get your money back and just how wide spread conning money out of novices is on the internet:

Aryth: Well I guess you should see Membership? - **WARNING**-Download p2p Clients ONLY Thru Official Sites (click on link) & I guess I should add them to this list: Known Scam Sites (click on link) You can report that scam site to the authorities, so hopefully they are closed down for taking people's money & giving them either LW Basic (the free version) or a tampered version of the basic version with spyware, etc. added.

Madeformusic

I don't pay monthly for madeformusic. Madeformusic was one site mentioned on Techtv, before G4 bought them out. Leo and Techtv mentioned them as a viable site to get legally downloaded music. I had madeformusic long before I saw him mention it on Techtv. At the time madeformusic was using Winmx, as their download program.

They just switched to Limewire Pro a few months back. I don't pay per download fee, nor do I pay a monthly fee, which they are charging now, At the time I got a life time membership for 24,00 dollars, so if it's a rip of, hell if I'm going to worry about 24.00 stuid dollars, when that is not even mere pocket change to me.

Plus I and hundrens of others are getting our downloads from Limewire through madeformusic, no extra charge. I have been with madeformusic for over two years now, if they are such a scam site why are they still up and running?. Plus I'm getting what I paid for my, which is my music.

What is ,is what is.

I checked one of your links out madeformusic was not in the list.

If it was in my country they'd be shutdown very quickly. We have government depts that deal with these type of sites. But, these sites exist all over the world. They often open up, make some quick money & then move onto a new site address & name, etc.

The gnutella network is full of files shared by people like you & I. That's what it's all about. The files you downld are not from a server.

A no. of scam sites have used winmx & I've also heard of people getting a scam version of winmx & when they updated, they got LW instead the next time or some other p2p client.

But if you're happy supporting a scam site that takes money for leading you to a free software & what people share for free, then that's up to you. :D

BTW I doubt very much they would have a server with copyright songs on it. That would be illegal. Why do you think Grokster, etc. were closed down.

Give it a break

madeformusic has beeon up since 2002. It is ran by WRR Enterprises, a webbase server company. So since 2002 they have been up and running, not shut down by now, if they were a scam site, hmmm, even the RIAA, would have had them in their sites by now.

if you read my thread, I do not pay anymore money out of my pocket, to download music. As I siad 24.00s to fight over is a joke to me, my main thing in life has never been money, and keeping evey penny I can. Money does not even make my list things I would want out of life. You all seemed more worried about my money than I could even conceive of even being that way.

As I said it was Techtv, listed it as a legitimate site, I know some of you have watched Techtv, they would not list a scam site.

So will you all please just drop these threads. All I asked was about a song, you people go insane over a site, makes no sense to me. Is this all you got in your lifes to be concerned with.
I'm not stopping you from using itunes, raphsody, walmat music, if you all want and enjoy paying through those companies, I have no complaints or anything bad to say about it, that is your choice. So off my back about my choice, worry about things , that really need concerned with or about.
