 IT WORKS!! I disabled the wireless LAN router and then re-enabled it and Limewire fired up. I wish to thank Lord of the Rings and Birdy for taking the time to offer support and advice. The advice from LotR that stated but your modem/router may also have an internal NAT firewall. is what helped me figure it out. Maybe someone else can benefit too. I thank you again for your help.
