:confused: Can anyone tell me why I cannot stay "on" Limewire? I can download for about 20 mins and then it keeps disconecting all the time after that. It did not do this before, but that last few months have been a real pain! Thanks guys!

Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface?

What type of connection do you have?

I am on dial up:eek: ! But have been even way before this problem started. No I am not behind a firewall. Any ideas?

Beware of using the Find Sources/Resume function when on dial up. If you use it on too many files at once it will affect LW's connection. Instead, just apply it to one or 2 at a time if you use it.

Other than that, try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.) This may have a positive effect. But next time you open LW, you will need to set your options again.
