Yes, your post makes perfectly sense.....I wouldn't want my daughters music mixed with mine either.
Create a new folder with your name (or whatever you want to call it) and add it to the shared folders. Then, when you start downloading a file, right click it in the download window and go to the bottom where it says "Change save location" -or something linke that <sorry, I've got my LW in German right now and can't see what it exactly says in English >; choose your folder and here you go...!!

I've just switched to English, it says "Change File Location...."
