Can't monitor downloads.

Hello,
When I try to monitor my file downloads form limewire I cannot see anything and I get a message saying " A LEAF NODE SHIELDED BY AN ULTRAPEER . HENCE YOU WILL SEE FEW OR NO SEARCHES IN THE MONITOR WINDOW " This is very frustrating , so how do I correct this annoying problem so that I can monitor my downloads.

thanks.

You can't the only way you can see those is if you are running as an Ultrapeer. And LimeWire determines when you will run as an ultrapeer if you have a really fast connection and the network needs ultarpeers then it will connect you as an UP.

What you see in the 'incoming searches' box isn't a measure of uploads. It will just show you when your files have appeared in someone's search results. See LOTR's posts below for more info

To monitor your uploads, you can check the progress of current uploads on the Monitor page or go to your library & look at the uploads column. This will show you the number of completed & attempted uploads for that session. The first figure shows successful uploads, the second shows attempted uploads. So if you see 3/4... means that 3 uploads were successful out of 4 attempts.
This data will disappear when you shut down LW:)
