If your movies are in your shared folder, they should be available for other people to download. Unless you're firewalled (do you see the brick wall firewall icon?), other people can share your movies

If the movies are in DVD format then there in no use in sharing the folders

People do no download VTS_1_3.VOB etc.

It is unfortunately not possible to download whole folders at the moment. Also there is a filesizelimit of 2 GB on each file

You will have to convert the DVD's to preferably XviD or maybe DivX
