Introducing, Da CaT

Hi. I'm new to this. Been,ahem... AWAY, for a while! So, how much better is LimewirePro? I'm not a techi so, plain English please. I'm a musician/producer and I'm interested in using Limewire as a platform for getting my stuff out there.
Not concerned if people get it for free.
What's the Story???

Well, there is not a big story about it. LW is one of the fastest P2P client using the Gnutella filesharing network (others would be Frostwire and Phex -which are comparable good).
LW has some 2 million users (AFAIK) and is under constant further development and adjustment to fit the needs of a growing network.
LW offers a free basic version as well as a Pro version. With a price of $ 18.88 (for the pro) it is cheaper than a Mercedes and only slightly more expensive than a Big Mac..........;)
Wanna know more......read here:

eh...

Thanks for that. what I really want to know I guess, is if it's worth the 18.80 bucks to upgrade to Pro? Also can you tell me how to change my user name?
I've forgotten my password. How do I get it back? (New to forums):o

To your password question: Log out and then go here:
http://www.gnutellaforums.com/login.php?do=lostpw
Guess they will resend the password to the email address you have used when completing the registration (I haven't had this problem yet,....;) ).

Whether it is worth to upgrade, hmm,.....if you expect any dramatic changes, guess "No", however, since the network is constantly growing and hence the clients need constant adjustments (only possible if the developers have enough funds to further work on it) I'd say "Yes".
If the development of the client would have stopped 3 years ago, you wouldn't be able to use the network anymore, or at least the use of it would be slow crawling......so, if they run out of funds, you'll end up in the future with an "almost" unusable client....(my personal opinion).
Besides, you might spend this amount of money easily on a Friday night between 8 and 10 pm.........;) :D
Just my 5-cent-worth though.....

If you mean the password with "THEM send me...."; just log out and try to log in again with a wrong password. That will give you a screen from where you can get a link to the "Please send me my password" page.....

Once in a while everyone of us is a fool........;)
Cheers pal

If LimeWire is the fastest, what's its maximum speed? 200 km/h? MACH 2? Do I need a driver's or pilot's license? Is their a safety throttle for kids?

Well, you won't be getting a Christmas card next year.:D
