quick question.
 
I juat wanted to know if there was a way to see how long something is your trying to download, like a movie or a clip. I want to see how long it is to see if it's the whole thing or not. If you could help that would be awesome. :rolleyes:

No, not really.

It depends on how much compression has been applied to the file and what format it is now in, e.g. wmv, mpg, mov, etc. So basically, size of file is no indication of how long a clip will be.

Try looking up the file with Bitzi before d/loading. Under "Media Info" it lists the "Duration". I checked it against a couple videos I have in my library and it seeems to be fairly accurate. That's probably your best bet. If the files not listed you won't be able to tell, for the reasons ukbob stated.

Edit: That may not work, depending what p2p prog your using.
