I feel that, as a musician I should have unfettered access to music so that I can learn the songs. This way, I can play the songs publicly and help the the popularity of the the song/artist. In other words, I should be paid for distributing the artists works.
I also feel that once I have bought and paid for a work once, it is then part of my 'intellect'. If the medium it is contained on fails, since it is not what I bought (I bought the content), I should not have to rebuy the content because I already own it. Therefore, I feel I should be able to download a new copy of that work for free.
