Mutoh 1614- color settings

Am using the mutoh valuejet 1614 and am trying to print some cocacola artworks. How do i set the printer or rip software to get the correct red?

It's a good idea to create & print out colour tables for both CMYK & another for RGB so you know how the particular color will look when printed. Also where possible it's better to work in CMYK rather than RGB. What you see on screen is RGB. What is printed out through a printer is CMYK. The color range of CMYK is much wider than that of RGB however they each contain colors than one or other cannot properly reproduce. If you were using a program like Photoshop, you could color test the red, go to the color table & see whether it has any CMYK warnings. eg: RGB colors tend to have brighter colors than those of CMYK.

Also particular devices have their own color spaces. Color conversions can be different between each. Setting up Gamut to match as close as possible is needed for more refined conversion. Thus setting up a color profile to match the devices you are using. This is especially applicable for scanning devices but also applicable for printing devices. Calibrating your device will mean changing the profile it uses, setting up a custom profile setting.
Most devices come with their own color profiles that can be used but these are not always accurate or match well. CMYK color model - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

BTW your question has nothing whatsoever to do with the installation of LimeWire so your thread is being moved to The Lounge.
