Streaming to tv

Question: Why is it when I watch a downloaded video on my DivX Player it's clear and sound matches up. But when I stream it to my tv through my LG DVD Player (divx certified device)the picture quality drops off and the lips are not in sync with audio? I'm using a wi-fi setup also.
Would I be better off burning to a dvd and playing that in player?

you've confused me completely...

you state : "when I stream it to my tv through my LG DVD Player"

then: "Would I be better off burning to a dvd and playing that in player?"

sounds like you are already playing it in 'the player' now doesn't it?

are you asking should you create a DVD (vob) file and burn that then play that?

dunno...why don't you just try and see if that helps....DVDs cost less than 25 cents each...

Thanks. I'll download Nero 9 now and try burning the vivx movie to a dvd then put it in my dvd player...hopefully the quality will improve to the level I see on my pc.

Peerless,

I think bwb is using a device that streams files from pc to tv (or in this case, passing through the DVD player to get to the tv).

My guess is that the pc gets too busy or streaming device can't handle the large amount of data, which results in A-V falling out of sync.

bwb: if the file played perfectly on your pc then a burned disc should play as well on your DIVX device.
