Can someone please tell me why Apple buyers revere their bits of Apple tech/kit (i-pad, i-pod, etc.) as if they're buying a religious artefact?

Ugh, wish I could have the answer for that.
There is nothing that great about Apple. People just think of it as "God" because it's a popular name brand.
The Ipad seems like a waste of space, but that's just my oppinion, of course. ;)
