extremely annoying introduction msg

I am herby posting something, admittedly just to get rid of the giant "PLEASE POST SOMETHING" bit above every page I open... Forced social interaction FTW

hehe it was put in that way so the forum rules were in people's faces so no excuse not to read them. Yes it is an annoying nag.

There is actually a different reason for that message not going away until you post. It's a way to get people to read the rules before posting.

If you only had seen the number of posts and threads that had to be edited or even deleted before that message was put in place, you would understand what compelled the administrator to force it upon people.

I would definitely call that a very small price to pay for the help offered by this forum .
