Connected, but can't download

I sign on to Limewire, and I'm connected, but under the connection tab it shows that there's no bandwith. What can I try so I'm able to download? This has been happening for about 2 weeks, and I've tried everything I can think of. Please help me. Thanx!

Yeah I have the same problem. I have an I-Book with macosX and macos9 installed. I tried with both Limewire versions and I had the same problem. On my old Imac, Limewire works perfectly.

"no bandwidth"? Maybe you mean "no traffic". Well, there's probably no traffic because you aren't sharing anything. You should be able to download, though.

connected but can't download

When I look under the connections tab it shows that there's no bandwith on anything. The top part that says bytes/files available both say 0. They both used to have large numbers in front of them. I checked to see if I'm sharing files and I am, so it can't be that. It also doesn't connect to any of the servers like router.limewire.com or any of the other ones that are used. I've put all of them in there, but I just connect to 127.0.0.1. My computer is also a mac version 9.1. Is there just a problem with the mac version since I'm not the only one having this problem?

There aren't any MacOS specific issues I know of. At least nothing was reported at limewire.org and usually problems with new versions, even if they aren't released yet, are reported quite quickly.

Are you behind a router or firewall? Are you using a connection via LAN?

I have a T1 connection, and there is no firewall. Are there any other addresses or ports I can try connecting through? I even tried reinstalling it to see if there was a problem when I downloaded it. I just don't understand why there is a problem.

Maybe they're fake files. See if this helps:
