connection problem
 

I have downloaded Limwire many times just trying to get connected. Earlier in the year, before the update, the connection was working fine, but now that I have downloaded Limeiwre 2.3.4 it wont connect. How can I search now when I have numerously attempted to connect from the file menu, yet it still doesn't work. What can be done to solve this problem?????

I had the same problem, but when I first downloaded limewire I recieved an error message "no script engine for file extension .wsf". after that it would not initiate at all. What I discovered is that Limewire was still using a Beta version of the Java Script engine.
Check to see if you have version 1.4.0 of the Javascript, if not uninstall the version you have and go to the Javascript web site and download it. It worked for me.
