![]() I have tried using limewire, kazaa, and morpheus. All of which are not connecting anymore for me. They used to work great. No firewall, good isp, just not sure what the problem is. When I install kazaa it gives me some kinda thing like "pure virtual runtime...c++ error" Is that anything keeping me from connecting to any of these clients? It seems like many others are asking the same question already also... but no answers. any help??????????>?>?>? -The Grand Pubah |

![]() I just found out that my isp is blocking gnutella traffic... looks like I might be switching even though I only pay a few bucks a year. If your computer isn't connecting here is one way that might tell if your isp blocks gnutella clients. Telnet to 64.61.25.171 port 6346 If it doesn't say GNUTELLA OK within a couple secs....you might need to change your isp like I do. But in case any of you would know any kinda way to fool the isp so that I can get some stuff please leave a thread. I know they have this kinda stuff for universities, but I'm not sure if it would be the same. -The Grand Pubah signin' off |

![]() Your ISP may just be blocking the default gnutella port. You could try moving to another port using: Options|Advanced|Firewall and Options|advanced|Port I've never tried this (never needed to) so I don't know how well it works or if there are any pitfalls. Mark |
