I downloaded the latest version this weekend, having had no problems with prior releases. Saturday, 2.4.4 worked great! The next day, I was diconnected. No big deal, right? Wrong! I was unable to reconnect. I logged off, restarted my computer, and was able to reconnect for a brief time. I was able to begin to download, but was disconnected and could not reconnect. I tried the connect button under file at the upper left on the screen, it appears not to be working. Any help would be great. As a fan of Limewire, I hate to see so many people submitting the same type of messages here. I would like to tell my friends to try the newest version, but under the present conditions, I really can't advise them to try it. Again, thanks for any help you can offer.

I searched the forums, like I should have in the first place. Sometimes I amaze myself, the answers were right here all the ime. I connected to connect3.bearshare.net and now I am reconnected.I am sorry I posted before looking at all the forum had to offer. Moderators: my apologies for wasting your time. It must be somewhat frustrating hearing negative posts all the time. You had given the answer, I hope everyone who reads this, will read all the other posts that the moderators have made before asking redundant question. The resorce is HERE. Thank you.

The Moderators do try to help when they can, but I've got to say that most of the help on here comes from the many users themsleves who give their time to help others. They do this because they know how frustrating it can be to get stuck on something new.

Please accept an apology form a user, not a techie...But when someone tells me to connect to bearshare or whatever, they forget some of us have no idea what you're saying. I'm in the majority group asking quesetions, including...why does my recently axquired update cost me cash, but still insists of asking me to buy it..And why will it connect sometimes and not others, plus will be in the process of downloading, then state "unconneced/no files available"?
How about some help for us ignorant users????Ross@wcsonline.net
