One minute I can, next I can't!
 

Have just got limewire today on the arrival of my new ADSL line ;-D. Thing is though, I downloaded a couple of files and then it just went red and I couldn't re-connect?? Anyone any ideas?

The same thing happened to me this afternoon. I've been using Limewire for months, and have never had any trouble connecting. Then today, I got knocked off for several hours. Probably a router problem or traffic jam on the Net is my guess. Try connecting again. I'm back on as we speak :)

ADSL connects can be, and normally are, very simple to use.
BUT, they must be properly setup and your installation software must be correctly done. I don't know what your ADSL provider is like in regards quality of service and backup, but if they are like most, it's more of a delivery-man who supplies you and then you're on your own. It is fortunately rather unusual for you to lose your service connection with an ADSL connection, but it can happen for brief periods.
Are you certain that all of the necessary info is correctly set in your installation/configuration?
