connection problems

I upgraded to 2.4.4 with no problems. It worked for a week or so. Now when I start the program I get and error message. Assertion Failed: (lock & JAWT_Lock_Error)==0, file CBanner.cpp, line 36 and then the program quites. I wish I had kept the older version 2.3. Does anyone know where I can get it?
