Why can't Limewire Ultrapeers Hang On Like the Others?

Limewire ultrapeers give me more search hits than others, but the connections break and are replaced by MorpheusOS or worse, Gnucleus. Search hits can drop to as little as 10% of what they were with all Limewire hosts.

Why can't Limewire be as stable as the others?

In general LimeWire will probably be about as stable as a Morpheus ultrapeers (which means not very stable) but since there are a lot more Morpheus ultrapeers than LimeWire ultrapeers, your LimeWire connections will be replaced by Morpheus connections soon. It's a matter of mathematical probability.

whats worse, is the morpheus ultras only have about 3 users each, as compared to the hundred plus we limewire users average

LimeWire ultrapeers have 81-85 connections. Having more connections is not advisable for LimeWire ultrapeers, since they have a hard total bandwidth limit for the gnutella connections (not uploads or downloads) of 15K/sec.
