Your OS is your Operating System... if you are a PC user it is probably some flavor of Windows. The more common versions of windows are:
Windows 95
Windows 98
Windows ME
Windows 2000
Windows XP
Typically there is a full screen display when you first turn your computer on that will display the version or you can click on

When i type in telnet 64.61.25.171 6346 it ont connect and it does not say gnutella ok
| This means that your computer cannot connect to the Gutella network... assuming you were on the internet when you did this (which is required to make the test) your ISP (Internet Service Provider) may have a configuration by which you cannot access the needed port. Contact your ISP or System Administrator.  |
