Default gnutella.net file

ive heard that a way to connect thru universitys/schools is to get the gnutella.net file of somebody who is successfully using LimeWire. If this is true how do i do this? or find someone who i can connect with?

just try it. copy the file into your LimeWire directory (that's where your LimeWire.jar file is located).

Well, then you obviously can't use it to connect.

Look- don't be such a snob. I looked at the file and it is a long list of IP #. the LimeWire.jar file is of course in the Limewire Folder.
Now do you mean to open the .jar file and pasting this info in there. Or how do you suggest to copy the file?

Now, if you would be so nice, I'd love to try your suggestion.
vielen Dank
