I read somewhere on this forum that deleting all but LimeWire from connections would speed up my hookups. I tried it and don't see much of a difference, but I only have one connection now. How do I add more LimeWire connections?

Thanks for the reply. I do not see that option anywhere. On the "options-> connections" page, I only see "you can select which hosts to automatically connect to on start up". There is a box that holds the hosts. I only now have "router.limewire.com:3646". There is an add/ remove option. I don't see anything that resembles what you said. I looked through all the other options and don't see it there either. I'm using the latest free LimeWire. 2.5.

Hello!
It is not any of the Options under Tools>Options>Connections Instead it is the Connection tab next to the Monitor and LIbrary tabs that you should click and voila the options that Peerless was referring to will appear.

Ok. I see what I did wrong. I went to tools->options->connections. It looks like you wanted me to go to the "main" connections page. I did find it and did what you said. I have 6 LW hosts listed and they are "ultrapeers". Back to my first message, still only have "router.limewire.con:6346" listed in the "tools->options->connections" window. Is that OK? Thanks for your help!. Joe

Thanks Joakim. I did figure that out. I'm just not sure about the second part of my question.

Hello!
To only have that host cache listed is not normal in LW instead there should be five of them listed. You should manually add the following in the exact order as I write here: router.limewire.com:6346 connect1.gnutellanet.com:6346 connect2.gnutellanet.com:6346 connect3.gnutellanet.com:6346 connect4.gnutellanet.com:6346

Thanks, Joakim. I will do that. But won't that defeat the all Limewire hosts that I wanted to achieve?
