| I just recently began using LimeWire 2.5.5 with OS X and have mixed results. At the office, with a DSL connection, I can get and maintain lots of connections throughout the day and can see a few terabytes of files under the statistics and tons of files. At home, with a slow modem, I lose connections a lot. When I lose a connection, I usually choose 'Disconnect' from the File menu and then 'Connect' again. I can then usually do a search and find the files I want before losing my connection again. So maybe you have to have a high speed line to have more success staying connected... |
