App terminating after long periods

Running XP with Limewire 2.5.5 and JAVA runtime v1.4.0_0
When Limewire has been running for a long period of time, the application will terminate itself. No error messages are rec'd. If I use the application, it will stay active. The issues occurs when searches or user interaction are not being performed. The app does terminate when both downloads/uploads are occurring.

Any ideas?
