WTF is up with Limewire on Mac?? Can't connect

I know the gnutella network is up because I can connect use Mactella. All of the sudden after upgrading to 2.5.5 pro, it only tries to establish connection to one host, then quits trying aftera few minutes. Downgrading back to 2.4.x didn't help.
