Yup, you should use the default limewire server: router.limewire.com, since it's up again. The server you wanted to connect to was just a temporary solution while the main server was offline.

I'm having the same problems. I've spent about 3 hours with LimeWire, it's unquestionabley the most uncooperative program I've ever ran. No matter what happens it refuses to connect. I've tried over a dozen servers at this point.

Well, you can wait for v2.6, it doesn't use those servers anymore, if you've got problems with them. I found that modem users might sometimes have problems connecting to them.

same issue

Powerbook Ti, running jaguar, downloaded LimeWire today. The damn thing won't connect to router.limewire.com. The "temporary fix" machine isn't up either. I know that they don't care about us free-client users, but this is rediculous. Anyone who figures this out, I would love to know the solution. Drop me a line at skybook@aol.com
