I downloaded Limewire Basic....everything okay until i tried to connect...goes on green then back to red..I have been at it for a least and hour already......I checked Telnet, Gnutella OK.....so what is the problem. PLEASE HELP!!!!

In the connections window enter each of these one by one until you get a stable connection. You can also go to Tools>Options>Connections and enter them in the preferences. To see the connections window, you may need to activate it in the view menu.

Your suggestion didn't work for me, but you're the only person who hasn't just said "get the new beta version," so I was hoping you had some more advice. ANy other connections to try, anything else I should do? It simply won't connect.
