At College And Limewire Doesn't Work
 

Hello all,
I am a Macintosh user at a college and the ethernet connection that we use will not allow Limewire and Mactella to connect so that I can download songs and what not. I do not know of any way to fix this and I was hoping that there maybe somebody here that may know how to fix this problem. Also if there is no solution then maybe someone knows of another program to download music and pictures and videos. I thank everyone for their help please.

try using Kazaa or winmix programs - they might not be blocked.

try the latest beta, it uses GWebCache to connect, and if you can use gnutella at all, it should work.

I feel your pain. I was fine downloading before school started, but now that so many people are here...it's not working. I know it's not the traffic because it won't even work at 2am. Both Limewire and my school say it's nothing to do with them...I want to cry.
