Some General Question
 

I am on cable and I can download just fine with LimeWire, I love it.

However, when someone tries to download from me, it will start the upload but always so slow... 2kb/sec and down.
But when I upload a file to someone, say, over FTP it usualy goes around 80kb/sec, depending on their connection speed...blahblah u know the deed...

But on LimeWire, its just ack...
I also have had this problem on WinMX.

Anyone know what causes this?

The party downloading from you can only download as fast as his system will allow. If they are on a slow dial up their download capability will be the bottleneck not your upload ability.
