Not able to connect

Can you please tell me why when I I put a song title or artist in the seach box, it won't connect to sharing files?

This is happening at my work and home computer.

At work- I'm pretty sure this type of traffic is administratively prohibited -meaning that your IT department has probably blocked access to the gnutella network.

At home are your using a firewall? When was the last time it worked correctly if ever?

Could be the same issue.
