Will I Ever Connect?

I have an iMac G3, MacOS 9.2.2 and have tried various kinds of Limewire but I can´t connect. What do I do?
Yes, my cable company is behind a firewall so I have to get around it somehow.
Is the only solution to buy a virtual PC?

Please help

You can't get around a firewall that easily.

No, but my neighbours who have the same cable company have managed to get around it using Kazaa. I think they put it in a passive mode or something, but I can´t find any similar alternative on Limewire...
