downloaded new Mac version but can't connect!
 

I just downloaded the version of Limewire for Mac users using operating systems earlier than OSX but can't seem to connect! I've checked all the settings and everything is set up correctly. I ran the telnet diagnostic and all was fine -- got the GNUTELLA OK message. I quit out of the program, restarted my computer, but all in vain as it continues to say that I'm sharing 135 files but I can't connect for more than half a second! I'm working through a dial-up connection, btw. Any suggestions? Thanks.
