Limewire Disconnects
 

I start Limewire. I start to download. After a varialble time, usually under a minute, Limewire aborts, and I'm back at the desktop. I've tried reloading the program and it doesn't help. Any suggestions? Thanks.

what OS are you using? do you get an error message, or does it do that when you minimize limewire?

Using Windows XP home. Start Limewire and get to the search page. Sometimes I don't even get a chance to type in the artist's name before the program tubes and I'm sitting at the desktop again.
Frustrating also is when I am lucky enough to get to start downloading and it tubes and I'm back at the desk top. If I start it right away again, the downloads start again and sometimes I can finish.

that's very strange. so you don't even get a error message? it just takes you back to your desktop?
