I have a firewall in my router and can't download anything?

I am running limewire on mac osx and through a linksys router (befsr41) I can't up date the router software because its an exe file? so anyway I can't get by the (NAT firewall?) to download anything? I was told I needed to find out the port #'s for limewire so I could reconfigure my router and start using it? I need some help here? Thanks. :(

I'm working on this too, so keep in touch. So far force ip in LW; allow Gnutella/Limewire (6346) in the OSX System Preferences ->Internet & Network -> Sharing -> Firewall -> New.

Then the router needs to map at least port TCP 6346 from the NAT'ed ip to the public IP. That's all I know so far . . .

Anyone else please chip in. Cheers.

[edit: can you take your router to a pc and configure it there? I was told to do this with a GPS that had no Mac software]
