I can't connect I've never had any problems connecting to the service however, for the past three days I have been unable to connect. I'll start the software, but it just remains in the "disconnected" status. My IMac is on DSL, so the I-net connecion is up and running. I also went under file and clicked connect. Still, nothing. What should I do? |

Hello! I had this very same problem some days ago; for internet purposes I use a G3 desktop with System 9.0.4 and cable modem. After downloading and installing the version 2.9.8, still had no connection; then I dragged the folder ".limewire" to the trash can, and the green light went on. I had to reconfigure all the preferences, but it seems to work fine now. |
