About the lack of results problem

this is a very RECENT problem. XoloX was working great before the weekend.

But now, whenever xolox connects to a certain unnamed client they are _NOT_ responding to any queries. Hence making XoloX useless. And because this client makes up a great majority of the hubs... it's a serious issue.

all we can hope for is they fix this on their end ASAP before taking other measures.

hopefully the next release they are supposed to be releasing.. fixes this. as of now, basically xolox is being held hostage _accidently_ is all i can assume.

force yourself to Ultrapeer mode.. may help in connecting to other clients.

No. Wrong.
The client making XOLOX useless IS Limewire, and for good reasons: Xolox does too much URN requieries and doesn't share files. Limewire 2,8 drops URN queries and ban overquerying clients, so Xolox has to release a less aggressive client in order to have results again. On the GDF the developpers of Xolox said they we're supposed to do so yesterday or today. Oh and avoid Xolox for now.
