Default Unable to connect

I am unable to establish a connection using client 2.9.11. I am on a 2k box and have a lynksys router. Do I need to set up fowarding settings as I did for eMule? If so what are they?

Thanks,
Totaly lost!

Tell your router to open up port 6346 and forward it.

Open up port 6346. That's 6346. Obviously, try going to file and click connect. Look at your connections screen, see if there's any activity. If there isn't, LW either isn't recognizing your connection or can't through to you. If there is, just wait for the IPs to resolve. Also, if you u have a software firewall, set that up to open 6346 as well.

connections is totaly blank. LW is not recognizing connection. When I attempt to connect, connect light will turn green for a split second, that's it. I know it's most likely an issue with router. Currently router noy working with DCHP. I had yp enter IP address.etc.

Often internet applications get confused when trying to send messages to your computer. For some apps, the IP needed is the IP of the router, not the comp, and then the router forwards. I don't know exactly what to tell ya, maybe some one more knowledgeable will respond.
