File -> Connect Non-Functional (Mac OS X, after network disconnection)
 

In the current version 2.9.11(PRO), and every version of limewire in recent memory, if limewire is started without a network connection, the File -> Connect menu item doesn't work. It is necessary to stop limewire and restart in order to connect. This happens on all three macs I use, with various OS X versions from 10.1.2 to 10.2.6.
Any suggestions on how to determine if this is a bug or if I need to change something on my end? The only settings I usually change after installation are the firewall settings needed on my lan to receive connections.

That makes kinda sense. No network, no gnutella.

Maybe I'm missing something.

I it such a big thing to restart limewire?

Or the other way round: Why not just connect to the network before you start limewire?
