Can't connect
 

I am running an installed version of Limewire on a Mac OS X 10.2.3. I have a dial up modem (sadly, yes) which I launch before launching LW. I open the Search window and see nothing, also in the connections window I see nothing.

Any suggestions?

Go to http://baghira.han.de/~jum/ and download Jum's build of Limewire. It fixes numerous bugs in OS X.

I am also a mac osx user. I downloaded that limewire pro you suggested and after i agreed to the license and clicked on the icon again i got an error message that says "the file limewire pro 3.2.1jum OSX.d is unknown. You may uncheck the option detect only clear formats in the prefs."

And I can't connect with the regular limewire. But ironically when I had dial up last week I could and I partially downloaded what I'm looking for which is Final Draft 6 for Mac OSX.
Now that I have DSL I can't even connect.
Please help. New to lime wire and Macs.

First off, delete all previous versions of Limewire before installing the Jum version.

Yes, I know, you CAN run more than one at the same time, but you really shouldn't be unless you have a good idea of what you're doing.

I have to say this, but I hope you have the license to the software you are downloading, because Limewire is no way condones the downloading of pirated software.

That said, you shouldn't mention what you dl here.
