I'm connected, but nuttin' happens? (MAC)

Just installed Limewire, I get the green dot permanently, but when I do a search, and click search, nothing happens? What is supposed to happen, and why doesn't it?

You might want to wait a couple minutes after you get that green dot for Limewire to build connections and become established in part of the gnutella network. Then your searches may turn up better.
